We don’t believe that chemicals belong on flowers, or in our soil, or on our pollinators, or seeping into our groundwater. Sustainable farming on the Hacienda - means we care about our land, our water supply, and our pollinators. We choose organic methods to improve our soil and to deal with pests. From harvesting rainwater, to growing cover crops for green manure, to seed collection, to the intentional care of beneficial insects, it’s the choices we make that make a difference.
